151Al igual que con DOOM 64 CE (ver el vídeo en el canal), el Doom para PS1 también tiene su versión mejorada por los fans. Tiene mejoras es muchos de sus apartados: upscaled textures con PBR materials, más cuadros de animación para armas y enemigos, brightmaps, mejor sonido, más gore, efectos visuales varios, etc.
Además de las campañas originales, incluye otras como Sigil de John Romero y No Rest For the Living. En este gameplay juego a esta última completa (consiguiendo la mayoría de los secretos, además del nivel secreto). Esta campaña originalmente salió como extra para la versión de Doom 2 de Xbox 360. Son 9 niveles bien diseñados y repletos de monstruos, si bien creo que se han pasado un poco con la cantidad de Caballeros del Infiero. En esta versión han simplificado el detalle de los niveles y añadido sectores coloreados para hacerlo más visualmente similar a como se habría visto en la versión de la antigua consola de Sony.

As with DOOM 64 CE (see the video on the channel), Doom for PS1 also has its enhanced version made by fans. It has many improvements: upscaled textures with PBR materials, more animation frames for weapons and enemies, brightmaps, better sound, more gore, various visual effects, etc.
In addition to the original campaigns, it includes others like John Romero's Sigil and No Rest For the Living. In this video I play this last one complete (getting most of the secrets, plus the secret level). This campaign was originally released as a bonus for the Xbox 360 version of Doom 2. It's 9 well-designed levels full of monsters, although I think they've gone a little too far with the number of Hell Knights. In this version they have simplified the detail of the levels and added colored sectors to make it more visually similar to how it would have looked in the version of the old Sony console.
