The "Hard" difficulty in this game is definitely not a joke. You have to make almost no mistake during the run or you'll never be able to win.

Beating Tournament Mode on Hard difficulty unlocks two skiers named "Tonosama" and "Eight", both of which have maxed stats on all four. Both of them also have the same outfits, so I don't see any reason why the developers create two characters with no noticeable difference.

During Mogul challenges, if you watch the opponent's run, you'll see a lot of tricks that honestly I don't know how to perform them. There is no help that I can find on the internet either. The controller setup only mentions L1 button as "Air 1" and R1 button as "Air 2", but combination buttons are required to perform tricks. The most basic tricks that can be replicated easily are:
- Twister: L1+Left or R1+Right
- Spread Eagle: L1+R1
- Back Scratcher: Down+L1+R1

The next one is Daffy. I find it easier to perform it but only in a combo, after doing Twister left version, right version, press L1 followed by R1. Or the other way around; Twister right version, left version, then press R1 followed by L1. However, I can't find any combination buttons to perform Daffy as standalone trick. I suspected that previous inputs are somewhat buffered in order to chain the next one, much like cancelling special moves to super moves in fighting games (Ryu's Hadouken to Shinkuu Hadouken, for example), but I tried L1,R1,L1,R1 and R1,L1,R1,L1, and nothing works. But if using turbo controller, pressing the L1 and R1 buttons alternatively can easily start Daffy and chain it with another Daffy. So, how Daffy is performed as standalone trick is still a mystery.

My other assumption is that the rest of the tricks are, on top of need to be buffered, they have to be inputted under the "very right" moment. In Tekken there is a term named "Just frame" which refers to attacks that can deal higher damage and/or faster recovery simply by inputting the command during specific very tight frames in order to work. "Back Scratcher" has the longest animation among the basic tricks, so it's the best move to start your combo, and then, you need to buffer certain combination inputs during the animation in order to chain with the next one. But I give up after exhaustive search. Finding new tricks is very difficult unless someone datamine the game and share the result.

In the video I managed to pull off Cossack, 360 and Iron Cross simply by inputting random buttons during the combo. I also pulled off Mule Kick off the record. But I have no way to replicate them so I can't share the information. Other than those, when watching the opponents, they can also perform 720 which gives the most point among the other tricks. Based on the name and the movement, the inputs might be related with doing full circle / double full circles somewhere between L1 and R1 buttons. But once again I give up after testing a lot of combinations.
