Though, the opponent could just send a bunch of garbage, so I just place some Puyos of the color I want to pop for later, then after a while, when the time is right, my 1-chain will send a ton of garbage. Yeah, that's why Margin Time exists. I used this trick to reach Masked Satan on the first floor in the Genesis version, which played the normal ending due to a programming quirk on which ending plays depending on the last character you beat.
