Pwnery's Reloading Bench - .380 ACP (9x17) - Quick & Dirty
With the recent shortages of ammo out there, prices have skyrocketed for even the most basic of plinking loads. Once upon a time, you could buy 9mm and .380ACP at a cost which didn't make it worth the trouble of handloading it - those days are gone, for now. So like any shooting enthusiast, I decided to take it on, and see how effectively I could make a good range round that was also cheaper than anything I had bought off the shelf present, or past.
In this video, I've decided to try a new format - a non-talkie, sometimes time-lapsed video to share with you the process I used to load .380 ACP rounds on the cheap. The quality of the components are *not* sub-par, but the price they come at, which I break down for you at the end of the video make this only cost you, the handloader, a bit of time... something many of us have an abundance of with all the business closures, and social distancing restrictions.
So, kick back, relax, enjoy the music, and see how I tackle one of the smallest calibers in my wheelhouse. Towards the end, you will find the recipe and the cost breakdown including a parts list. Enjoy!
Note : I do not do these videos for any monetary gain thanks to the "unique" changes YouTube has made in their requirements for monetized content, and have maintained procedural information as close as possible in line with their new guidelines as well. I do these videos for solely for the spread of information, and maybe a little notoriety in my often-infringed upon community.
