Pwnery's Reloading Bench - A Primer on Setting Your Reloading Dies
Holy Crap, two in a week? What'd you guys do to deserve this???
After my PRB on the .380ACP round, I had referred people to see the die-setting process to an older video I made years ago with .454 Casull loadings - but after giving it a little thought, I decided that it was probably best to just do a completely separate video on JUST the die-setting process. It doesn't sound like much, but even after editing and adding the instructions, it turned out to be almost a full-length video within itself.
The process I illustrate here should work for almost all calibers, rifle, or pistol (I do make notes of the differences), and with most single stage, turret, and maybe even setting up progressive presses as well. I decided rather than swapping out to my Lee Single-Stage reliable press, I'd go ahead and just do it on the Lyman All-American 8 (unboxing and review of that is also on this channel).
So in any event, sit back, relax, enjoy - and remember that you can always refer back to this video for any of my other quick-and-dirty PRB reloading video's for reference when I skip that part of the time-lapses for whichever caliber and recipe I decide to share in the future.
Note : I do not do these videos for any monetary gain thanks to the "unique" changes YouTube has made in their requirements for monetized content, and have maintained procedural information as close as possible in line with their new guidelines as well. I do these videos for solely for the spread of information, and maybe a little notoriety in my often-infringed upon community.
