Here's a lesser-known mod for GZDoom that kicks some serious ass. Dodopod was able to recreate Quake 3's movement controls (complete with strafejumping) in GZDoom using ZScript. The end result is really fun to play and adds a whole new spin to your favorite Doom levels. Being able to dodge attacks on a dime is really helpful, though your reduced running speed make Revenants and Mancubi a huge pain in the ass. It's not a 100% faithful port as the hangtime on the jumps is still the standard GZDoom length and rocketjumping seems the same, but it's still well worth your time.
