This mission pack came with only one extra map for multiplayer. It can be played in Deathmatch, but was mainly made for Capture the Flag play. Zoid, the creator of Threewave Capture, had helped them in the making of this CTF mode. In addition, all the maps in this game can be played with CTF.

The new modes are:
Tag: Tag with weapons. There's supposed to be a "Tag Token" that appears, but I may have completely missed it. Upon having a Tag Token, the player is vulnerable and will be given 3 frags for each player they kill. Upon five kills, the player will be given Quad Damage. The Tag Token is dropped upon the player dying, and can then be grabbed by another player.
Capture the Flag: Your basic CTF stuff. Get the enemy's flag, and take it back to yours.
One Flag: A variation of CTF, find the flag somewhere on the map, and capture it at the enemy's base.
Three Team: Grey team is added. To score, they must take any team's flag and bring it to the opposite base.

Of course, the CTF modes have a grappling hook, with a new unique model this time. While files for the Morning Star (the original grappling hook used in Threewave) exist within the pak file, it remains unused in the game, likely as reference for making the new grappling hook model.

While the map is included in the 2021 remaster of Quake, unfortunately it can't be played in CTF mode. However, someone made a version of the map that makes it playable in CTF.
