Quake II (2023) - Capture the Flag Maps
0Just like with Quake 1 Enhanced, the Threewave CTF mod is a game mode in the enhanced 2023 version of Quake II. The same game rules apply!
The map contains the original 5 maps from the original mod, as well as some new maps made for this version. I just play the new maps in here because I already played the others in the other video. One of the maps has changed though, that being CTF4, or Q2CTF4. The map was replaced by a simplified version of the map known as "Outlands II", or Q2CTF4a, which was originally made downloadable from id Software's FTP. So I decided to play through that first to make that up. The other three are new maps made for Quake II Enhanced; one of them is an original map known as NDCTF0, which is pretty barebones and is the only one that doesn't allow use of the grappling hook by default. The other two are Q2KCTF1 and Q2KCTF2, which are based on one of the levels of each of the mission packs, and include the weapons and items from their respective expansion.
