Arch-Viles with lasers are one of those "unknown unknowns" that you used to hear Dick Cheney talk about. Tanks, on the other hand, are known knowns and sort of baffle me in how anyone could consider them a threat considering how they're placed and how easily they are to stunlock. At least with Barons and Hell Knights they throw a bunch of them at you at once with some weaker enemies as backup.

The expansion packs fix this, though. Not by changing the tanks, mind you, but by adding new enemies that are basically just reskinned old enemies with boss-level health. Do you like fighting those guys with the railgun arms? How about fighting those guys with the railgun arms when they can take over twice as much abuse as a Tank?
