Quake II - Strogg Towers (q2towers.bsp) (Semi)Blind Play (Hard) [2/2]
Still some ascending to go, with many more Strogg to annihilate.
The difficulty picks up a bit here, with emphasis on higher numbers in smaller spaces. While there's nothing ridiculous thrown in, there are a couple of areas that should require a bit more thought than usual as far as combat goes.
With the majority of the descent being made up of Enforcers (which easily fall to a single Super Shotgun blast at point-blank range), a player could be lulled into a false sense of security while there are other stronger Strogg types scattered around; Gunners are still fairly common, and there is one room containing nothing but some 10 or so Iron Maidens - a headache at the best of times.
As for the finale, it's nothing much given the enormous terrain. With all the high-end ammunition saved up, it's pretty close to being a pushover.
