Quake PC Game Review 1/2 -Exploring The Id: id Software History Part 9
In part 9 of Exploring the Id, we review Quake for the PC. Released in 1996, this was the first true 3D first-person shooter. We take a look at the single-player gameplay, the Nintendo 64 and Sega Saturn ports, and the two official expansion packs (mission packs). Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails does the music for Quake. With the quality of shooters this generation, things would be completely different if Quake was done today.
You can download Quake from Steam along with many of the other classic id Software PC games.
