Quantitative Analysis of Streaming to the Quest using the Oculus Link and Virtual Desktop
Generating quantitative metrics to compare streaming to the Oculus Quest using Oculus Link cable and wireless Virtual Desktop. Using No Man's Sky in VR to compare streaming solutions.
VR video footage taken both within the Oculus Quest VR headset directly and maximum MP4 quality used to generate the videos for analysis.
Disclimer, this is my first attempt at quantifying the quality of streaming to the Quest headset. I will try other streaming test using a range of video matter.
And thanks to ggodin for developing Virtual Desktop, check it out at vrdesktop.net
