Welcome to a playthrough of Quest for Glory 4: Shadows of Darkness. After bringing the warring tribes together in Quest for Glory 3 the Hero is somehow teleported to a dark cave in Mordavia.

After escaping the caves you'll be able to explore the town and forests of Mordavia. You'll meet old and new friends as you try to stop the dark cult summoning Avoozl, the Dark One.

Quest for Glory 4 has a darker feel than previous games in the series but manages to keep its humor. It's the first game in the series to feature voice acting for all lines of dialogue, including the narration.

You can either start with new hero, Fighter, Magic-User or Thief, or import a character from a previous game. If you played a Fighter and performed enough noble deeds you can import an old character as a Paladin. For this playthrough I'll be playing as a Magic-User or Wizard.
