Quest for Glory II AGDI Remake (2008) Introduction in BEAR-O-VISION™ (Windows) (4K)
Old desert tale now smooth, shiny—no more typing, just click and go! Magic strong, city big, many paths for brave hero. Story same, but feel fresh, like old cave with new torchlight. Retrobear laugh at jokes, train with sword, sleep at inn. Remake done with love... bear feel it!
The AGDI remake of Quest for Glory II: Trial by Fire is a fan-made, point-and-click update of Sierra’s 1990 adventure-RPG hybrid, created by AGD Interactive and released for free in 2008. Faithfully recreating the original's setting—the Arabian Nights-inspired city of Shapeir and surrounding desert—the remake replaces the original text parser interface with a modern point-and-click system, updated VGA-style graphics, voice acting, and enhanced music. While preserving the humor, character progression, and multi-class gameplay that define the series, the remake also introduces quality-of-life improvements like a navigable map and streamlined controls. Celebrated by fans and newcomers alike, it revitalizes a beloved classic while staying true to the spirit of the original.
