Ruby is not dead but But Ruby on Rails Framework is Dead in 2019. If you don't know the ROR was a Web Framework base on Ruby Programming Language.
Ruby is a functional style programming which mean you can code faster even faster than Python. If I am going to build Software than I am going to code in Ruby. But for Web Applications I will never use Ruby and its Ruby on Rails Framework rather I will use PHP 7 for it.
