Axiom Verge sees you play as Trace, an ordinary guy who awakens, after a tragic accident, alone and in a strange, labyrinthine world. Like many Metroidvania-style games the emphasis is on action and exploration, as you hunt for items to unlock new paths and weapon upgrades to take down increasingly more difficult foes.
