A recent discussion on my Twitter feed regarding Fast Boot being automatically disabled in a recent Windows Update inspired me to do a quick video comparison:

Fast Boot On - The first cold boot measures roughly 10 seconds from power button press to Login screen.

Fast Boot Off - With the only change being the Fast Startup option switched off under Power Options]Sleep Buttons, the second cold boot measures roughly 22 seconds from power button press to Login screen.
