Quick Look | UFO Afterlight (2007) Third part of the Altar UFO reboot
6Part 3 of the Altar Ufo remake\reboot from 2007... compared to theirs previous games its quality is kinda low ... game starts strong with this sense of the unexplored ... gives you new Alien allies ... but in the end the missions are a grind , the building\manufacturing\producing\researching is a chore ... the Gui is horrible , the base building is awful ... and after 3h in, you lose interest in it ... if you ask about the end... well , you do a DNA Bio-weapon , kill the beast-men and teraform Mars as a new Earth ...
Part 1 UFO AfterShock was more fun then this game ... you feel they milked the IP dry , not knowing what to do next with it ... and just spited a carbon copy with less effort put into it but placed on Mars
and after few years it was yet again remade\rebooted as a new game , now under the Xcom Brand ... as two games, a good TPS similar to Mass Effect that some did not liked( but i did loved it) ... and a Console Turn Based game with derp down streamlined logic ... that was milked yet again to death
