Quick Step by Step Guide on How to Map Art in Minecraft
I do request that if you use the schematic to always credit the original artist of the artwork. I do not claim ownership of the original ownership of all artwork (unless it is clearly mine), all mapart was created with purely an intent to show admiration of the original artwork and to bring more diversity to the minecraft world.

Litematica/Fabric mod for seeing the ghost blueprint :
If you are building on a server, make sure to talk to a mod/admin before using. Most servers have rules about mods of this type. I am making my mapart on a private owned server.

FAQ:
Why don’t you make maps using the staircase method?
I have tested both versions, and while yes the staircase method has a bit more detail to it, the amount of space and work that goes into it does not make it worth it for me. I want to build 100s of maps and I just can’t with the staircase method.
Why don’t you use dither/or why do your maps look different from others?
I don’t use dither (using random blocks to make the image look like it has depth, or fill in white noise) - I just find after doing so many maps that it really distracts the eye. Just start with a good solid image and the final product will look great.
