Heists are a thrilling type of adventure to send your players on, regardless of class and alignment. Most will be able to contribute and showcase their abilities and feel like they each were able to accomplish quite a bit.

And there's nothing like the thrill of a job well done and well paid.

But there's another angle to take, a way of looking at a heist sideways and getting your players even more invested:
By letting them contribute to the scenes created.

Like anything, this requires trust between you and the players, but by giving them a means of creating little changes via flashbacks framed in the likeness of heist movies such as Ocean's Eleven, you can allow your players to make relevant skill checks to help overcome hurdles as if they had been planning and learned about them all along.

It requires daring, imagination and skirting the bounds of what's traditionally acceptable at a game table, but it can be an incredible amount of fun.

But to learn more, join us in these storied halls of the Nexus Libram as we discuss getting your players more invested in doing the job and pulling off a thrilling Heist, right here at The Gamers Den!
