R-TYPE DELTA / R-TYPE IV (PLAYSTATION - FULL GAME + ALL ENDINGS)
35Zeus presents R-Type Delta (aka R-Type IV) (un-emulated) for the Playstation, a true classic from the golden era of playstation gaming which must not be forgotten alongside the software house and all programmers that were involved in making this game.
Year of release: 1999
The official fourth game in the R-Type series (hence the name Delta which is the fourth letter in the Greek alphabet) , this time exclusively for the Playstation.
This game now introduces a 2D/3D graphic design,...a 2.5D style if you will similar to Einhander and Thunder Force V and it looks great, this type of change in design always had shmup fans of a 2D sreies worried (like myself) as we always worried it would never work or would ruin the feel of games before it but not to worry here as It's a great game.
There are several ships to choose from with different firepower, thankfully the "Ribbon" weapon has remained and looks great with It's glowy red/blue neon effect.
Dobkeratops (level 1 boss from R-Type 1) also makes his return along with many new bosses.
There are also 3 different end credit screen, 1 for each ship, all 3 are included in this upload at the end of the video: 47:32, 49:30 & 52:36.
All in all a really good shooter on the PS1 and a great addition to the R-Type series.
I have used the invincibility cheat so I could upload the entire game for your viewing pleasure.
