This video is part of a larger Ship Showcase playlist that I've done. This is the thirty fourth video that I've done for this set.

Ships in this series: Arrowhead, Delta, Lady Love, Wave Master

This ship is an offshoot of the classic, the Arrowhead. The red weapon is the counter air laser, and fires straight ahead. The blue weapon is the reflect laser, and fires three lasers straight ahead and at 45 degree angles. The yellow weapon is the counter ground and ceiling laser, and will fire two beams at 45 degree angles that crawl on the floor and ceiling, but is useless in stages without a floor and ceiling. The missiles are standard Homing Missiles. The bits are Round, but this ship can also use the Shadow and Shield Bits. The Wave Cannon is a four loop charge Standard Wave Cannon.

This stage is an homage of R-Type Final's stage 1.0, but is much harder. The meltcraft are all over the place, and some of them have destructible Forces. However, if you manage to kill the meltcraft that it's attached to, the Force will eject and come firing straight off of the ship. The boss is cooler, with its arms coming at you from in front or behind, instead of just boringly sitting in place like in R-Type Final's version. All that said, I love R-Type Final, and this stage is a worthy homage to that game.

I practiced this stage for days before I could finally No Miss it, and even then, it took several tries before I got it for the video. I wanted to do this stage with the Arrowhead, but I had so much trouble that I finally settled on a variation, the Wave Master, because it had more firepower. I think the stage recording turned out well, however I feel about it personally. I hope you enjoy it.
