Initially I went through to stage 9 twice on normal. Once with the default 2 lives and then once with 3 lives setting. The tenth stage gets especially cheap and by stage 9 the game no longer lets you start back at the last stage you got to. You get sent back to stage 9 if you lose on the 10th stage. Even on easy mode the game gets extremely cheap so it wont be a priority to work on again. I was almost finished with my normal run of R-Type Final 2 but the game crashed twice on the final stage in the same day, basically wasting 4 + hours of my time. Will try again soon though. Hopefully the shit doesnt crash next time, especially on the hardest mode. If it keeps crashing I will try the hardest mode again much later.
