Mission Launch: April 5, 1975

Occasionally, the simple objective of launching to a space station is not quite so simple. The crew of Soyuz 18 instead found themselves in a crazy tumble that cost them the mission, and even the Soyuz 18 name.

Background tracks are from Descent: Freespace, released for the PC by Interplay and Volition in 1998.

If you have any questions or comments, please keep them relevant. This program is intended to celebrate the legacy of the fine men and women who gave their blood, sweat, and tears (and sometimes even their lives) in the great odyssey of manned spaceflight. Troll posts and hoax theorists will be immediately deleted.
