Here is a comparison of benchmarks done in Rainbow Six: Siege using the Vulkan API with an Intel i9-10900K fixed at 4895 MHz and an EVGA RTX 2080 Ti Kingpin Edition running at a reasonable core frequency that any RTX 2080 Ti should be able to achieve (2085 - 2115 MHz with stock cooling and a 50°C temperature target but it spent most of its time at 2100 MHz due to the relatively low temperature target).

As you can see the differences in image quality are minimal, even between Ultra and Medium, the main differences come from the Anti-Aliasing quality. The best balance in my opinion is the High setting, however with the hardware I'm using I can easily reach my target frame rate of 144 Hz even on the Ultra setting. If you're targeting 240 Hz with similar hardware you should consider using the High setting, if you're targeting 320 Hz with similar hardware you should consider the medium setting. You can easily gain better perceived image quality by then turning up the Anti-Aliasing quality without too much performance loss.

In summary R6 Siege performs really well using the Vulkan API and I highly recommend using it. High settings should be a good setting for most users and the image quality is still almost as good as the Ultra setting anyway, you could then turn up the Anti-Aliasing quality to gain some of that perceived image quality back by smoothing those jagged edges.
