Rainbowing Some Sixes: Raven Shield - EP03: Mountain Highway
Rainbowing Some Sixes
Episode 3 - Mountain Highway
This is the third episode of our four player co-op Let's Play of Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield. In this series we will be playing through the main campaign and expansions of Rainbow Six 3, a 2003 PC game developed by Red Storm Entertainment and published by Ubisoft.
You can track our progress on beatthatbacklog.com, a website I run to chronicle my attempts at beating my unfinished games, or backloggery.com/neuteboom, where I keep a full list of my collection. You can also find links to everyone else's backlog in the Multitap section.
IMPORTANT: We wind up not beating the level in this episode. My game eventually crashed, and so I had to stop recording the Let's Play. Naturally they beat the level while my game was crashed and I was restarting my computer. Go figure. I didn't want to cop out on you guys like this, but since we're not going back to that level anytime soon, I didn't want to leave a gap in the episode list.
Therefore, I've done my best to edit it so that you get a full overview of our play through and how we eventually beat the level. Also, I've left in the audio of my game crashing in the end for your enjoyment.
Anyway, in this episode we play the third level, Mountain Highway, and wind up becoming frustrated by the last room of the level where we need to rescue a hostage. We get all the way to the hostage on almost every try, only to have him gunned down by a single terrorist sitting in the room waiting for us to open the door. This was before we made the discovery of breach charges, which become very handy in Episode 5.
Enjoy the episode. Fully completed levels will be coming shortly, I promise!
