Raining Blobs Game Sample - PC/Indie
Raining Blobs is, essentially, an indie variant of a little known game called "Pnickies", which was made by Compile and published by Capcom many moons ago. Utilizing a sort of charming enough "retro bit" style graphics and more "chiptune style" music, Raining blobs has you basically grouping together blobs of different colors to form chains and you can destroy large groups of blobs all at once to unleash really big attacks (or in the more typical "drop puzzler" way of speaking, large piles of garbage/junk) against your opponents!
However...you might be wondering...you are pairing together lots of red blobs (or another color) and NOTHING IS HAPPENING! You might be wondering why that is...unlike some drop puzzlers, you can't simply pair 3 or more of the same color to make them vanish. You must connect two "star blobs" of a same color to make them vanish. Watching the video, what I am saying becomes very clear, but you can destroy 20+ blobs by linking a ton of blobs of the same color and then adding two or more star blobs of the same color to your large link/grouping.
