Powered by a Ferrari Dino V6 engine, the Lancia Stratos HF first participated in the 1974 WRC Sanremo Rally. This vehicle performed so well that it made Lancia the Manufacturer's Champion for three consecutive years, until 1976.

Sandro Munari took the first win in this 1974 Sanremo rally.
