New PB for me with this seed, which was very generous to you besides maybe one or two minor hiccups near the end.
Knowing dark rooms allowed me to do PoD and EP in one go before ever touching the rest of the dark world, which felt good. (Lamp ended up being in SW)
Early powder + bugnet + bottle made for the very nice ability to hold a safety fairy, something that definitely saved my butt.
Fighter sword Mothula was the main scary part. I took a death here thinking that I already had a fairy (I didn't, I had spent it in the helmasaur fight). But I tried it again, picking up the fairy on the way. This was a time loss for me but I felt great about finally getting a fighter sword Mothula kill, which I have been practicing a bit. IMO the key is to make liberal use of spin slashes. I guess you could have also been a badass and tried to do a hammer moth kill but....that ain't me.
Routing felt pretty efficient and straightforward other than that. Routing pyramid fairy into the initial south dark world loop felt great. I made the mistake of forgetting to check back of escape for a little while, so I saw the flippers pretty late, but I don't think that actually affected me terribly much.
Last two items came down to mitts and the MM medallion, and maybe boots. After finding the flippers and doing flipper overworld checks (seeing quake on lake hylia) it was pretty clear the answer was gonna be SP -- lo and behold, mitts are in the very first check.
I bail out of SP instantly and head to DP to find out that quake is the MM medallion, and boots are required. No dice in checkerboard cave and mire shack, so I head to east side dark DM next. I see TR is quake and am actually prepared to go into there (frod and somaria were very very early in this seed, making me suspicious), but boots were the first chest in hookshot cave, so I didn't even need to make that call.
GT was a motherlode of luxury items -- half magic, silvers, AND if you opened the two chests in the mini helmasaur room like I did, you got gold sword. Had a very quick aga2 fight (easy patterns). I was slightly more cautious on the ganon fight as I didn't have full magic and I only had 4 silvers, but he went down pretty quick too.
Feels nice to have a seed like this every once in a while.
