RAMP 2022 is the sequel to 2021's RAMP, in that mappers come together to release a Doom map of any quality, and is a starting point for those wishing to get into mapping. As before, maps are accessed through a central hub map, and there are 117 entries in this instalment, with the project once again headed by DavidN. All maps were designed within the month of June, with 88 mappers contributing to the project.

About the Map:

For players who have played / watched 'Night Lightning' from the first RAMP, 'Dawn Breaker' is essentially the successor to it. The concept of DB plays very similarly to NL, though this time around the layout is larger. Ammo and health are very scarce commodities, and as such it is paramount that the player makes use of infighting to thin the herd, if possible. If the player finds the hidden Berserk Pack, then by all means use it carefully!

Definitely one of the hardest levels in RAMP 2 for sure, though not the hardest (that honour goes to MAP69). The satisfaction I got upon completing this was simply amazing. Excellent challenge.
