RAMP 2022 is the sequel to 2021's RAMP, in that mappers come together to release a Doom map of any quality, and is a starting point for those wishing to get into mapping. As before, maps are accessed through a central hub map, and there are 117 entries in this instalment, with the project once again headed by DavidN. All maps were designed within the month of June, with 88 mappers contributing to the project.

About the Map:

Impressive stuff! This looks like something straight from Community Chest 4's second episode, with its exceptional detailing, and deadly and well-thought out encounters. The peaceful music disguises just how brutal this level is! Many of the maps monsters are fought in setpiece battles, and many of these can be decimated in short order. This all culminates into a crazy-ass battle with hundreds of monsters spewing forth the void space. It is VERY easy to get trapped, so timing BFG shots is paramount. Excellent all around, and up there as one of my favourites of the set.
