Rampage World Tour was the last of the Rampage game series. The original Rampage was designed because the current technology only supported vertical animation. The designers worked around this limit and developed a game that had buildings breaking and falling down vertically. Then they developed a story of being the bad guys and inducing this destruction on this environment... and so Rampage was born. Rampage World Tour takes all the original elements of the game but now allows the players to move horizontally and move across more terrain. This allowed for bigger and more unique environments. The other major difference was they completely redid all of the graphics and gave most things a 3D rendered look.

Midway Arcade Treasures 2 is the second collection of classic arcade games published by Midway for the GameCube, PlayStation 2, and Xbox. This compilation includes 20 games that were not in the 2003 release of Midway Arcade Treasures or the 2005 release of Midway Arcade Treasures 3.
The game plays similar on all three consoles; however, the Xbox version has the exclusive ability to upload scores to an online scoreboard. The special features on each version of the game are the same. These include game histories, developer interviews, and other documents.
