An unfortunate 'adaptation' of an excellent chess program, Sargon III paved the way for the likes of Cyrus and Chessmaster. The underlying engine is strong, but this DOS version is lacking in the graphical department. A frustrated Lawnie can't even access the CGA mode and is limited to text-only. A bad version of a very good game, seek it out on other systems!
