Trying Hiroshima-style Okonomiyaki
2After the last couple big videos, I think something a little simpler is in order.
On August 22, me and my travel buddy Chris had dinner with our friends. I had been keen to have some okonomiyaki, so we went a chain place near our local train station. I have had Osaka-style okonomiyaki several times, so I was keen on trying out the Hiroshima style. With it being layered, instead of all mixed together, it's a bit of a different experience.
Just like its Osaka brother, it's a gut-buster of a meal! Between five of us, we had two of these, plus three other Osaka-style okonomiyaki. I had tacos and menchi-katsu earlier in the day, so I was just about dead after this dinner. Worth it, though!
