Travelling On The Odakyu Line

Today, we have a leisurely ride on part of the Odakyu train line, as it happened on August 12, 2019. I left it mostly unedited, to preserve the riding experience. That explains the long wait to leave Shin-Yurigaoka in the first part of it.

In the visits to Japan that I have had so far, I have stayed in Atsugi. Since that's in Kanagawa, it's a bit of a trek to get from there to Tokyo. Thankfully, the Odakyu line is easy to catch, and offers a straight shot to Shinjuku. On the Rapid Express, it takes about 53-55 minutes. Not a short journey, but a lot faster than one of the Local trains. This video captures the journey from Shin-Yurigaoka Station to Mukogaoka-yuen Station. That's roughly the half-way point for the ride I'm used to taking.
