1It's Friday, and that means it's time to once again talk about a weekly board game! This time we are checking out The Perfect Wave.
The Perfect Wave is a recent game from The OP Games. The game is all about riding the perfect wave, one of the most relaxing, and patience based activity turned into a multi turn competitive card/board game.
In the game you get your own beach card that represents you attempting to catch and ride a wave. On the game you will paddle out, playing trick and wave cards along your tracker until all the maneuver cards are played out of their deck.
Once the game is over, the cards of the waves are flipped over one after another until a wave either fails or ends. Then players score their wave points adding any run bonuses, set bonuses, trick card bonuses, and goal card points.
The player with the most points wins.
