The Eclipse RAP project is a mature Open Source Project that is often used for bringing existing Eclipse based applications to browsers and thin clients. This session talks about what you can get beyond the Open Source code base:
Services for professional use of RAP like Proof of Concepts for Single Sourcing, sponsored development of new Open Source features and Long Term maintenance and support.
Additional technology to target more environments like desktops (running SWT on the desktop and RAP on the server) and mobile devices (running native iOS, Android widget toolkits).
We will also give a peek preview about a second life for SWT in the JavaScript world.
