Instructions for yt

sudo wget http://youtube-dl.org/downloads/2013.04.22/youtube-dl -O /usr/local/bin/youtube-dl
sudo chmod a+x /usr/local/bin/youtube-dl
sudo apt-get install git python-setuptools
git clone https://github.com/rjw57/yt
cd yt
sudo python setup.py install

Then if on a raspberry Pi run yt --player omxplayer
otherwise yt --player mplayer
