Overview
Rat On A Skateboard features a fun and challenging skateboarding game where you get to control a cute rat on a skateboard and go through banana harbor doing stunts. Although the game is fun, it really isn't that easy as there are a lot of obstacles along the track to knock you off your skateboard. The game also features stunts that you can do, like flipping and jumping on ramps to rack up scores. The game features 3 game modes for you to play, there is the power stunts mode that feels like an endless runner and lets you skate for as far as possible without colliding, the banana harbor mode that has you going through obstacles and scoring points and the challenge mode that has you skating through a variety of levels. The game offers a total of 70 challenge levels for you to complete, some powerups to help you do some insane stunts, and if you're good enough, you'll receive 3 stars at the end of the level. It won't be a walk in the park though as there are a variety of obstacles scattered throughout the levels that you need to survive like crates, traffic cones, ramps and many more, not to mention that there are also a lot of banana peels being thrown at you from behind to test your skateboarding skills. Graphics and Sound
The graphics look crisp and clean, the designs used are also pretty, the rats featured in the game are really cute, they may be small but you can still see some nice details on them, the environments are great too, the foregrounds are colorful and the backdrops are in silhouettes giving it a nice contrast, it features platform based tracks, railings and even ramps, the colors are also great, it looks generally clean making the game looking fresh and crisp, the color blending also seems nice. Animations and movements are nice too, the animated parts are kinda smooth all throughout while character controls are fairly easy and responsive. The game music also sounded cool enough while sounds certainly have variety. SFX also look nice, it is kinda simple really but it still managed to look quite pretty throughout. Overall, it really looks crisp and clean all throughout, the designs are very cute and presentations are nice.
Gameplay
The game features 3 game modes for you to choose from depending on your preferences, you can play endlessly with randomly generated levels or take on the challenges. The game also uses the 3 star rating system giving a fairly high replay value. There are some cool stunts that you can do to rack up points and some powerups to help you do some insane stunts like back flips, kick flips and many more. The game also offers control schemes for you to choose from, you can play the game using a single button or 2 buttons, it's all up to you.
