Rat Race Level Skip in Battletoads - A Wild Glitch Appears! #shorts
297In Battletoads for the NES, it's possible to skip most of Level 10 (Rat Race) by punting the racing rat off the route.
After defusing the first bomb (or any bomb, but why wait?) time a dash attack just right so that you hit the racing rat as he falls to the floor. Then when he bounces off the floor, charge toward him and mega-kick him off the stage. There are numerous ways to get the job done, but the essential part is that you land a strong kick on the rat (I just find it easier to pull off if I ram into him with a dash attack first).
When you kick the rat into the air, the game will play the "level complete" music and send you to the next level. You won't have to defuse the remaining bombs, nor will you have to fight the boss.
