My first impressions of Ravensword Undaunted, showing its gameplay across the first 3 levels. Ravensword Undaunted is a hexen inspired RPG shooter set in a gothic style, and this video covers my first 1 hour or so playing from blind to give you my first impressions, with commentary throughout.


This game has just entered early access on steam, and in my opinion shows quite a bit of promise. The magic attacks specifically are rather satisfying and varied, and the difficulty gets quite up there too. A few bugs to be ironed out and what-not but we're so early in development that you can forgive such things.


The game is inspired by hexen and heretic, but combat-wise almost has a bit of a Skyrim feel to it. Watch the video and you'll see what I mean.



A mini review can be found at the end of the video, although it is mostly just me rambling. You'll get a good impression of the game from the video, so hopefully you find it useful and entertaining.
