Slay The Spire - Challenge - Starting Relic Only
7We attempt to complete Slay the Spire as the Ironclad, with only our starting relic. This is a more difficult version of the "Who Needs Relics?" achievement, which requires you to only have 1 relic but you can swap out your starting relic for something better. We on the other hand, do not. We also forbid upgrading our Burning Blood into Black Blood.
This video shows a complete walkthrough of my attempt, with commentary explaining what's going on to those new to Slay the Spire. I shall guide you through this game to the best of my abilities, and hopefully my subpar gameplay will suffice.
Slay the Spire is a fantastic deck building card game that plays out like a turn based RPG. The sheer number of variables and combos leaves so much room for your own experimentation and decision making that the game develops incredible replayability.
There are a number of achievements to be earned within the game, this video is my quest to obtain one of them. Although I mix in my own extra spin to make it more difficult and, in my opinion, thematical.
