Let's Play Chuhou Joutai 2 Paraided - Gameplay and Commentary
A full game walkthrough of Chuhou Joutai 2 Paraided, the brand new bullet hell danmaku shooter for Steam. This video shows all of my gameplay with commentary as I guide you through the entire game on difficult (hard) mode.
Chuhou Joutai 2 is heavily inspired by the Touhou series of games, even having non-intrusive references to it. The game features retro style graphics in a very rough and minimalist style that reminds me of the PC-98 days.
This game is a bullet hell, or danmaku, style of shoot 'em up. This means that the screen will typically be blanketed by a curtain of bullets from all angles making avoiding them an overwhelming concept. To compensate this the player has a tiny hitbox, allowing for many close calls and incredible escapes. The game's bosses focus on artistic and intricate bullet patterns, that reflect the enemy's nature as well as providing a suitably increasing challenge.
A pseudo mini review can be found at the end of this video. Don't worry about spoilers, the storyline is very much secondary in a game like this so take a good look and see if you like the gameplay and difficulty it offers.

On this channel I make a variety of gaming content. Sometimes we're reviewing up and coming indie games, sometimes we're revisiting retro classics for a Let's Play. The only consistent factor is that it's all gaming, and it's all accompanied by sarcastic commentary. If that's your thing then I have links:

I always try to be as fair and objective as possible when making my review videos, giving some honest feedback and a bit of criticsm here and there. Remember that games these days are always subject to change so many of the things mentioned here may no longer be true depending on how old this video is.
Please leave a comment if you have any questions about this video, or suggestions for future videos. I'm always open to hearing what you guys have to say.
