Dear Fighting Game Community,

We have taken into consideration the initial feedback from the prototypes that we showed at the Tokyo Game Show in 2011 through the "The Razer Arcade Stick Thread!" (http://bit.ly/FOpaGX) on Shoryuken.com as well as ongoing validation and feedback from some of our professional gamers including RZR|Latif, The Fighters Alliance and many more (to be announced shortly) -- and we have arrived at the latest rev (Rev 12) of the community driven fighting stick design.

Some of the notable changes you can see on this latest prototype from the earlier TGS prototypes are:

• Acrylic top plate to cover customized artwork
• Gas strut to support the easy opening of the chassis for mods
• Honeycomb structure for easy dismount/mount of additional components throughout the bottom chassis
• Removable buttons, joystick, cable tray and screwdriver tray
• Increased height to accommodate both Sanwa and Seimitsu joysticks and buttons
• Overall weight of the arcade stick around 3.4 kg / 7.5 lb

These are some of the changes that we have done for Rev 12 while there are more slated for the final unit after we have the initial validation done.

At this stage, we'd like to give everyone an update and to show the prototypes to get further feedback. If you think it's good to go, we'll do a prototype production run based off the current Rev 12 design and send out the sticks to the selected 200 beta testers within the next 2 months for additional validation. If not, we'll go for another round of re-design and share the next update (Rev 13) accordingly. So let us know what you think!
