RBI Flags Darkening Global Outlook | India Tonight
12The Reserve Bank of India in its December bulletin has flagged off a rather darkening global outlook. It has warned that emerging market economies will appear to be more vulnerable, however, putting in a glimmer of hope by claiming that Global inflation may have peaked.
But there seems to be some good news for India. RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das says that the Indian economy remains resilient drawing strength from its macroeconomic fundamentals. The report adds that India's financial system remains robust and stable and that banks and corporates are healthier than before the crisis.
