Ray tracing adoption and importance has been steadily increasing, but RX 6000 RDNA 2 GPUs from AMD have fallen behind Nvidia's RTX 30 Ampere cards for ray tracing. But, it seems that AMD are working on boosting the performance of RDNA 2 for raytracing.
