Strategy and tips:

I find a complete disregard for your own safety is best here - just keep hitting your opponents as fast as possible. Be prepared to break out of the hold and go to Javier as soon as the cut scene where Tommy comes down the stairs finishes. For the second gold objective, I have a suspicion that you may need to take a certain amount of damage from Tommy and get pinned by him, before you can actually beat him. If you go around blocking the fight will probably take to long,
