Overall Strategy:
You have to drive back promptly and take out attackers without West Dickens’ health bar depleting completely or he will die. I have got back taking an off road short cut before but this is risky as the bumpy conditions cause his health to diminish more rapidly. Use Dead Eye to take out the attackers quickly and you should have no problem.
