Overall Strategy:
This is your first opportunity to buy things that will be useful later on. I recommend getting a survivalist map in advance for Survivalist Challenge 2 as it will make it a whole lot easier. The rabbit's foot is a good buy at this stage as it will increase what you get from looting corpses. Early in the game, this is a valuable source of income. You can also sell some of the pelts you collected earlier to help fund this. Buying the Safe House is ultimately required for 100%, and in my view, worth doing at the first opportunity. Not only does it give you a save point, opening the chest gives you free ammo. If you do this every time you call in, you'll never have to buy any.
