RE4 1 chapter=1 weapon no damage run 5-1 (incendiary only)
7I basically had the bare minimum number of incendiaries I needed to avoid relying too much on luck to get past certain spots, but overall, not that tough a chapter. HOWEVER, I'm kinda freaking out right now because I've been relying on FAQs for the GC version to figure out magnum ammo locations, and there are a whopping 10 magnum rounds that are available in that version between 5-1 and 5-3 that aren't there in every other version. That means I'm 7 rounds short of what I was expecting (I forgot about the 3 in the box this chapter)! I'll have 41 rounds available in 5-3, and in my testing I needed 44 MINIMUM. I may have a way to shave off 2 or 3 of those, but this is cutting it super close. I probably have two options: rely on getting a random magnum drop in 5-2 (possible, but yuck), or go back to 4-4 and play until I can finish with 2 or 3 rounds left in my case at the end. Both options kinda suck.
So far, we have:
1-1: handgun
1-2: flash grenade
1-3: harpoon
2-1: shotgun
2-2: BAR
2-3: Punisher
3-1: Mine Thrower
3-2: Red 9
3-3: TMP
3-4: Blacktail
4-1: SAR
4-2: rocket launcher
4-3: Striker
4-4: Broken Butterfly
5-1: Incendiary grenade
The rules:
1.) Only one weapon may be equipped in a given chapter, and ONLY that weapon may be used, even for opening boxes. This also means that the weapon must be unequipped at the end of the chapter, either by selling or discarding it.
2.) All 19 of the new game weapons must be used.
3.) No damage
4.) Professional difficulty
5.) Saves only at the end of a chapter
6.) Tactical restarts only (to clear enemies out of an area), i.e. no restarts because of a hit or a missed shot, etc.
